I have a Canon Pixma MP470 photo printer and the pictures are not turning out at all. All of the pictures are dark and fuzzy looking. They look fine on my computer but they don’t look the same when they print. Is there any way to make the pictures look better or is there a better printer out there? I still have 9 months left on the warranty, but I am just very unsatisfied with the quality I am getting out of this printer. I also only get about 65 color 4X6 photos out of a $25 cartridge. Is there any good quality, cheap, efficient printers out there?

I really dont like ink printer. Inks run out really fast, and they are expensive. I want to print many papers, but inks are expensive, so I don`t print a lot. I only use it for black color. Is laser printer better? it saves more money than ink printers?
